Lipin Valve Titanium Ball Valve Series Serves Seawater Desalination, Replaces Imports

Release time:2026-05-27 16:40:44

Zhejiang Lipin Valve has successfully applied its titanium alloy (TA2/Gr2 & Gr12) ball valve series in a large seawater desalination project (100,000 tons/day). The first batch of 60 valves achieved zero leakage delivery, cutting operating costs by about 30% and breaking the import monopoly. The valves feature corrosion-resistant titanium bodies, Stellite 21B hardfaced seats, and precision-machined balls and stems, making them ideal for marine engineering, desalination, offshore platforms and chemical chlor-alkali plants.

After 1,000 open-close cycles in simulated seawater (1.6 MPa), third-party tests showed zero seat leakage and no pitting or crevice corrosion on surfaces. The valves hold ISO 9001 and CE certifications, and can be supplied with DNV or ABS inspection certificates. Size range DN15-DN300, pressure PN16-PN100.

Lipin Valve has built a dedicated clean workshop with helium leak detectors and spectrometers to ensure full traceability. The company plans to launch titanium plug and check valves in Q3 2026, and continue developing special alloy valves (duplex, super austenitic, Monel, Inconel) for global customers.
