In June 2026, Unit 1 of the Datang Yuncheng National Power Demonstration Project, the world’s first 630°C doublereheat ultrasupercritical 1,000 MW coalfired unit, was put into commercial operation. The unit operates at a main steam pressure of 35.5 MPa and a reheat steam temperature of 631°C. For this unit and for auxiliary lines of multiple 600 MW and 1,000 MW ultrasupercritical units, Zhejiang Lipin Valve Co., Ltd. has supplied highpressure hightemperature gate valves, globe valves and check valves in batch quantities. These valves have been running stably with sealing performance meeting power plant technical requirements.

ltrasupercritical unit systems such as main steam and highpressure heater drain lines impose high demands on valve body creep strength, erosion resistance of sealing surfaces and stem packing tightness. Lipin Valve has established a complete manufacturing chain for hightemperature alloys including WC6, WC9, P91 and P92, covering material retesting, forging, heat treatment and precision machining. Sealing surfaces are plasmahardfaced with Stellite alloy, and stem packing is a lowemission flexible graphite combined with a Belleville spring dynamic compensation design. Thirdparty hightemperature cycle tests have confirmed that both external and internal leakage meet the requirements of API 598 and ISO 158481.

For quality control, each hightemperature valve is provided with a fully traceable electronic quality record, including raw material heat number, heat treatment curves, NDT reports, and shell and seat test data. Lipin Valve’s Wenzhou plant holds ISO 9001, CE and API 6D certifications, and can supply additional compliance documentation for NACE MR0175, ISO 158481 lowemission, etc. upon request.

To date, Lipin Valve has supplied Class 600 to Class 2500 hightemperature highpressure valves in batch quantities to domestic boiler manufacturers, power plant construction companies and petrochemical plants. The products are widely used in thermal power, nuclear conventional island and refining units. The company will continue its technical development in hightemperature alloy valves, ultralow temperature valves and intelligent monitoring valves, providing reliable fluid control solutions for the energy and chemical industries.
